Using my fireworks knowledge, I knew that effects could be created within the programme, therefore i experimented with the effects so ensure that a pattern could be used o the front cover and contents to ensure that it could not only fill in free spaces left on the pages but also link the contents page and the front cover together. after a lot experimenting I chose these three patterns. However after experimenting with the further I chose to use the the first two as I believed that they would appeal greatly to my target market and the last pattern was too confusing and wouldn't fit with everything else on my front cover. However the colours may be changed to allow the magazines colour scheme flow and work together.
